Oxford, PA named after Oxford England is known for its Carpenter Gothic, Queen Anne and Victorian style homes built during the mid to late 1800s. Oxford is rich in farmland and has a strong Amish presence. Mindful of Oxford’s design history and culture, DCP is committed to maintaining the integrity of original homes while renovating for the client’s modern family needs. As a growing borough, there are more cookie cutter developments. Whether it’s a farmhouse renovation or new construction in Oxford, DCP prides itself on boutique design and construction tailored to the homeowner’s vision and respectful to the neighborhood’s history.
Featured is a total house restoration and renovation of a farmhouse in Oxford Pennsylvania. DCP designers mindfully maintain the original character of the colonial house from 1746 while upgrading the functionality and amenities for the twenty-first century. In addition to the main house restoration and renovation, our design team contracted landscaping, built additions and renovated the barn on site. From start to finish the project was completed within a year. DCP served as designer and general contractor.
