My husband and I have worked with Merrie Fredericks over the past 20 years on various major renovation projects in our home, which was built in 1909.  She has totally re-done our kitchen; re-configured our entire 2nd floor, eliminating some bathrooms and adding others, changing the floor plan, designing and building built-in furniture, adding a porch off the master bedroom; she built a pool house in our backyard; totally re-built the garage, adding an indoor spa room (a Japanese soaking tub) and an upstairs gym with a vaulted ceiling; raised the ceiling on the third floor of the main house to include a vaulted ceiling, stonework on the walls and built-in cabinets.

Throughout all this work, Merrie has been a pleasure to work with.  We returned to her again and again for each new project because we know that the quality of her work and her knowledge and her judgment are impeccable, and she stands 100% by her work.  Her design sense is strong and I have repeatedly asked for her assistance with interior design decisions.   She has always been available, responsible, responsive to our questions and needs, creative in her planning, and realistic in her time estimations.  She is knowledgeable about architectural, electrical and plumbing issues.  Her team of contractors are skilled craftsmen, are reliable and are easy to have at the house.

I would enthusiastically recommend Merrie to do any renovation project, big or small, in a residential setting.
